Greg was looking for someone to take over the DIY board. Maybe if you offer, Dizz was a Mod anyway, he'll reopen it and it will still have all the material that was there. I've joined the other ProBoard that was mentioned in the DIY thread.
After the closure of DIY TV myself and Dizzy have opened a board that will run just the same.
Again the rule is if it is in print still don't link to download it. enjoy

We approached Greg about taking over the board but didn't get much response over it. The next I knew like the rest of you was the board was down, none of the modz were informed of a date for the board being taken down.
yeah like Dizzy said we did appoach Greg.
Hopefully like he said in th DIY thread we might be able to get some of the links back
Yeah, just went down one day. I did see the message in the Mod section but then a few days later the board was unavailable. Greg still checks in here so why not ask him for the handover. Check out the other Metal Share site though, its quite well populated and has about 170 members. Maybe Greg could add a link to it on the message that is currently on the DIY board?
I wondered if any one else had read that no record company/legal people etc etc can get a website taken down just for posting links to another site that is actually hosting the music, there is actually no law that makes it illegal to post an actual link to a file sharing site.....So why do so many people get spooked by one or two e-moithers from people saying they are gonna take legal action when nothing illegal is being done??.....thoughts

TO DIZ & MIDNIGHT
I will open the board so you guys can rebuild. but, I don't want to open to the public. so I need a couple screen names so I know who to OK. all the old accounts are deleted.
When people click the link for the downloads page, it will go to a page with just a link to your board, then in time I will cut this coard.
Hey Dizz... if you want to post all my threads again I can do that... I have all the megauploads links in my gmail account, so I can start the new "downloads section" of the board with my uploads... that's something at least...
